For regular listeners of The Catholic Channel, a 60-second promo by a man named Father Harry causes mass hysteria, due to the relative anonymity of such a voice and the strange inebriated words of wisdom mixed in with popular music.
However, using a little elbow grease on Google, I was able to track down this man, and he is none other than Monsignor Harry Schlitt, who serves as the Vicar for Administration and Moderator of the Curia in the San Francisco Archdiocese. Apparently, he's been "Father Harry" on the radio for years.
You can download some more Father Harry here, at the Bay Area Radio Museum. Now, after being able to pair the Sirius promos with an identity and face, they aren't as creepy anymore.
